Description
Stirling Council is to cut 170 jobs which represents about 2,5% of the total workforce. The job cuts will affect managerial and clerical staff. The Scottish local authority committed to keep compulsory redundancies to a minimum, while redemployment opportunities were not ruled out. As of 23 January 2009 there is no information on when the job losses will occur.
