Description
Cummins, a firm manufacturing diesel and natural gas engines, is to cut 200 jobs at its Daventry site in Northamptonshire. The management blamed the cuts on the global economic turmoil and stated that they were necessary in order for the firm to remain competitive. The job losses will affect 100 temporary staff and they will occur by the end of February 2009.
