Prado Rugs, a manufacturer of rugs, is to cut 143 jobs at its manufacturing plant in Kuurne. Prado Rugs is a subsidiary of Associated Weavers. 117 blue- collar and 26 white-collar wokers are affected by the collective redundancy. The manufacturer Prado Rugs has been affected by a decrease in demand which has affected the entire textile industry in Flanderswas and led to numerous collective redundancies.
