Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Coroplast, the German-owned manufacturer of cable bundles for the automotive industry, is planning to shed 700 jobs from its three production facilities in Dylaki by Opole, in Krapkowice, and in Prudnik. At present, these three plants employ a total of 3,600 persons. The redundancies will be completed by late March 2009.
