European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
SIG, a manufacturer of insulation, is to cut 100 jobs at its site in Sheffield. The firm employs 10,000 people in the UK, although as of 18 January 1009 no further information is available as to the reasons behind this decision, or when the jobs will be lost.
