European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Madeta, the largest Czech diary products manufacturer, has announced about 100 job cuts out of 2,100 staff due to the milk price drop and the global financial crisis. The company's restructuring envisages the closure of two diary plants (one in the city of Strakoniceand the second is not published yet). As of December 2008, there is no information on when job cuts are to be implemented by.
