Barclays, one of the world's leading banks, is to create 150 jobs and 30 new branches in Italy in first three months of 2009. Barclays is one of the major global financial services providers. It has several business divisions, such as retail and commercial banking, credit cards, investment banking, wealth management and investment management services. It operates in over 50 countries and employs around 150,000 worldwide. In Italy it has around 1,300 employees.
