Acciona, a company which supplies logistics and cleaning services for Nissan, today filed a Layoff Plan to dismiss 322 people, which is almost half of the payroll working for the Japanese car manufacturer in Catalonia. The payroll cutback, which the company reported this very morning to the unions, will affect the work centres that Acciona has in the Nissan plants in the Zona Franca in Barcelona and Montcada i Reixac (Barcelona), according to union sources.
