Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

AT&T, the world´s biggest telecommunication services provider, has announced 12,000 job cuts (i.e. about 4% of the total staff) by the end of 2009 due to the global financial crisis. The restructuring costs will amount to USD 600 million.
