Description

JCB, a manufacturer of heavy machinery, has announced that it is to cut 165 jobs at its sites in Staffordshire. The job losses will affect staff at company plants in Rugeley, Cheadle and Uttoxter. The announcement came at the end of a 30-day consultation; however, consultations over job losses will continue at company headquarters. As of 12 December 2008 there is no further information on when the redundancies will occur.
