Description
On 9 December 2008, the special glass manufacturer Schott announced to create 135 jobs in Mainz. The company stated that it is to set up a new production facility for pharmaceutical glass materials. The majority of the production will be located in Schott’s former site for the production of TV-glass that was closed in 2004. Employment at the new facility will commence in September 2009. The full production line will be set up by 2010.
