European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Casamercato, a megastore located at Lavagno, in the province of Verona, is to close with the loss of 114 jobs. According to the company, the closure is mainly due to the current global economic crisis. The procedures for the collective dismissals will start in January 2009.
