European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Russian group Vimetco announced the intention to cut 430 jobs at Alro Slatina (Olt county, South-West region), manufacturer of aluminium.
In present the company has 4,300 employees. The reason is the decreased demand for aluminium on the international market.
