European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Grand Smithy Works International, Recycling of metal waste company, notified County Agency for Employment Galati the intention to dismiss 200 employees.
The reason is the decrease of the volume of activity of the Archelor Mittal Steel Galati, the main business partner. At the end of 2007 the company had 257 employees.
