European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
EVRAZ VÍTKOVICE STEEL, the largest Czech manufacturer of rolling steel products based in Ostrava, has announced 157 job cuts to be implemented by the end of 2008 due to the decline of customer orders. The company is part of the Russian Evraz Group and currently employs 1,600 people.
