Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Krosglass of Krosno, a Polish fibre glass producer, plans to lay off approximately 150 workers (almost half its total workforce) by late 2009. The job losses are attributed to difficult market conditions and a sharp decline in orders.
