Description
Gemfire, a fibre optics company, is to cut 250 jobs at its West Lothian site. The company decided to close down the factory blaming the credit crunch. A Livingston MP asked the company for a letter outlining the reasons for the closure. As of November 2008 there is no information on when the job losses will be implemented by.
