Description
Homebase, a retailer of home improvement equipment and member of the Home Retail Group, is to cut 200 jobs across the UK as a reaction to a steep decline in demand. The cuts are part of a wider cost-reduction plan announced by the company a month ago. The company aims to cut costs by £40m in the current year. As of November 2008 there is no information on when the job losses will be implemented by.
