European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
According to the source, about 150 workers in Altec Telecoms (one of the largest Telecommunications Networks in Greece offering a wide variety of products and services in the following sectors: Fixed telephony, Internet connection & VPN, Broadband services) are being kept in a situation where they are unpaid, and without any intention from the employer to fire them.
For the record Altec Telecoms has submitted an application for bankruptcy.
