French IT group Bull has opened a new international centre specialising in data storage near Grenoble. Bull has been involved in a recruitment campaign for more than one year and aims to hire around 200 consultants from November 2008 until the end of the next year.
The centre will be run in partnership with US data storage giant EMC and will be open for business from November. The amount invested in the project has not been disclosed.
According to the head of Bull's data storage activities, the new centre will help customers to understand and evaluate the best ways of storing data on the market.
Bull has been in partnership with EMC for 15 years. The CEAO has said that the project reflects the company's desire to invest in the region of Grenoble.
