European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Bombardier, an engineering firm that operates in the aerospace sector, has announced that it is to create 200 jobs at its site in Belfast which currently employs 5,000 workers. The company stated that the jobs will be related to their new programme making aircraft wings. As of 26 October 2008, it is not known when these jobs will start, although the company has already started to advertise them.
