Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Dytecna Ltd, a manufacturing company that operates in the communications sector, has announced that it is to create 50 jobs in Hereford, Worcestershire by opening a maintenance depot. The company hopes to have the new depot open by Christmas 2008. The company currently employs 310 people at its sites in Malvern and Hereford. The expansion comes as a result of winning new contracts worth up to thirty million GBP, including a deal with BAE Systems worth twenty million GBP.
