Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
After obtaining permission for an investment in the Katowice Special Economic Area, Famur now plans to expand and modernise its Katowice factory of mining equipment, buy new machines, and activate additional production lines. This business expansion will increase the current workforce of 505 by 100. The new jobs will be implemented by late 2009. Apart from equipment for underground mines and strip mines, Famur also produces equipment for oil and natural gas drilling, for railways, and cement production.
