Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Canadian company Bombardier, a manufacturer of transportation equipment and other related products, plans to create 150 new jobs by late 2009 with the expansion of the capacity of its factory in Wrocław. The Bombardier currently employs 1,400 people at the four Polish factories (800 people in Wrocław) manufacturing various elements for railway rolling stock as well as signalling systems and electric equipment. The Wrocław factory produces components for locomotives and other vehicles.
