Description
Husqvarna is the global leader in outdoor power products for forestry, park maintenance and lawn and garden care, as well as cutting equipment and diamond tools for the construction and stone industries. The product range includes products for both consumers and professional users. As a result of efficiency gains, synergy effects of acquisitions, and expectations of continued weak market conditions, personnel cutbacks will take place during the last quarter of 2008 and the first quarter of 2009. The reduction of 300 jobs in Huskvarna is part of a total group restructuring of approximately 850 employees worldwide (see world factsheet).
