European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 27 August online bookshop Amazon announced the building of a new transport and distribution centre in Bad Hersfeld, Hessia, creating 2,500 jobs within the next three years. The new centre is expected to start its operation in the third quarter of 2009.
