European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The French bank Société Générale has announced to recruit close to 5,500 new staff members in France between September and December 2008. The recruitment comes amid fears of widespread job losses in the global financial services industry as the credit crunch leads to fears of economic recession.
