Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The German group E.ON Gaz Romania, with activities in the field of natural gas distribution in North and Centre parts of the country, which at the beginning of 2008 employed 7,990 persons, announced that at present the number of employees is 6,700. This is a result of the promotion of a programme for voluntary redundancies after the privatisation and economic restructuring of the company.
