Description
Autoliv Inc. is a worldwide leader in automotive safety, such as seatbelts and airbags. As described in factsheet 11431, profits for the company in 2007-2008 were lower than targeted and the company has announced that it is to cut 3000 jobs before the end of 2009. The effects of this decision are now starting to show in Sweden. Autoliv AB, the Swedish part of the company, has announced the reduction of 60 jobs in the production unit in Hässleholm. The dismissals will start in late august.
