Description

Ford has announced that 124 jobs will be lost at its Transit van plant in Swaythling, Hampshire. The company has announced that daily production volumes would be reduced from 26th August 2008 and that 124 staff on temporary contracts will not have them renewed in early October. Ford indicated that the volume reduction was one of several across its European operations.
