Description
Autoliv Inc. is a worldwide leader in automotive safety, such as seatbelts and airbags. All the leading automobile manufacturers in the world are their customers. Autoliv has 80 facilities in more than 30 countries and 41900 employees all over the world. As a consequence of decreasing car production over the world, profits in 2007-2008 were lower than targeted and the company has announced that it is to cut 3000 jobs before the end of 2009. The majority of these reduction measures takes place in the USA and France but also Sweden will face consequences of the reductions.
