Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Emerson Romania operating in the electrical engineering sector is to create 200 new jobs by the end of 2008 at its facility nearby Cluj. The facility currently employs 200 people. The group plans to invest up to EUR 125 million in the development of five plants in the Industrial Park Tetarom III nearby Cluj over the next four years. This large investment is expected to result in the creation of approximately 2,000.
