On 12 June, 2008, Ulma System got permission to establish a new plant for the production of steel and metal construction components in the "Starachowice" Special Economic Zone. The new plant will employ 190 workers by the end of June 2014. As of June 2008, there is no information on when employment at the plant will commence.
