Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Gedia Poland Assembly, a company established by the German Gedia group (Gedia Gebrueder Dingerkus) and producer of sheet metal components for the automotive industry, announced the creation of at least 135 jobs by establishing a second factory in Nowa Sól in the Kostrzyńsko-Słubicka Special Economic Zone. The new jobs will be created by the end of 2008. The new facility will produce metal parts and accessories for cars and engines. Gedia has other two plants in Poland; one in Nowa Sól employing 890 workers and another in Kożuchów employing 70 workers.
