Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Tallink Grupp, one of the leading European ferry operators and subsidiary of Tallink Superfast Ltd., announced the creation of approximately 200 new jobs in April 2008 by operating on the Helsinki-Tallinn route with M/S Superstar, a new generation high speed vessel. On 8th of April, M/S Superstar was delivered from Fincantieri Cantieri Navali S.p.A. shipyard in Ancona (Italy) to Tallink Grupp. M/S Superstar will start servicing the passengers on bases of the Tallink Shuttle high speed ferry service, which was launched in 2007.Tallink Group serves more than 7 million passengers every year and offers high-quality mini-cruise and passenger transport services in the Northern Baltic Sea region. The company is also the leading provider of ro-ro cargo services on selected routes.
