InsData, an IT company, has announced that it is to create 100 new jobs by expanding its business in Slovakia. The company currently employs 115 highly qualified IT specialists. As of April 2008, there is no information on when the new jobs will eb created by.
InsData is the daughter company of AustrianUniqa insurance company for which it has been providing services during more than 12 years. Uniqa Group Austria is one of the foreign companies which delocalised part of its operations to Slovakia. InsData provides, within the framework of “Cross Boarder Service” project, administration of insurance contracts for eight Uniqa insurance houses operating in the Central and South East Europe. According to the President of the Uniqa Board, Konstantin Klein, Available qualified work force and lower labour cost in Nitra, which is not far from Vienna, were the most relevant factors for the implementation of this project.
