Besedo, a Swedish company specializing in managing the outsourcing of business processes, has announced that it is setting up a call centre in Malta which will create more than 200 jobs over a period of three years. The centre will cater for its operations with regard to content, contact and abuse management for the internet and media industry, especially iGaming. The company has already started recruiting persons who can speak English, Italian or French, with the intention of commencing its operations soon. Management stated that it decided to invest in Malta for various reasons including the fact that the country forms part of the EU and that the IT sector in Malta is of a very high quality. The company has been growing consistently over the past years and this investment is projected to generate from €5 to 10 million in new contracts.
