Description
Continental automotive, the leading international automotive supplier, has announced that it is to create about 350 new jobs with the expansion of its production of diesel injection pumps at the site in Trutnov. The company currently employs 100 workers. The investment is planned to exceed 18 million EUR and the number of staff will rise constantly until 2011. On 3 December 2007, the company took over Siemens VDO Automotive and currently employs 6,000 people at four manufacturing facilities in the Czech Republic (Trutnov, Brandýs nad Labem, Frenštát pod Radhoštěm, Adršpach).
