Airbags International, manufacturer of nylon airbags covered with silicon, has announced that it is to create 280 new jobs by relocating the production of airbags from the plant in Congleton (UK) to Poland. The exact location of the Polish plant has not been announced yet. Airbags International is a subsidiary of the Swedish-American Autoliv group, a global automotive safety products provider. As of April 2008, there is no information on when either employment at the plant will commence or the new jobs will be created by.
