Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Ostan Group, the Italian industrial parts moulder, has announced that it is to create 100 new jobs with the development of a new plant in Sosnowiec. The plant, which is expected to be operational in 2008, will manufacture semi-finished products and plastic and rubber parts for the automotive industry and household appliance sector. As of March 2008, there is no information on when employment at the new plant will commence or when the new jobs will be created by.
