European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ferax-Iril, a manufacturer of hoisery and underwear, has announced that it is to create 180 new jobs by expanding its production plant in Zduńska Wola (in the Łódzka Special Economic Zone) by the end of 2009. The plant currently employs 1,030. The company has been operational in Poland since 1993. As of March 2008, there is no information as to when employment at the plant will commence.
