Gedia Gebrueder Dingerkus, the German manufacturer of pressings and welded assemblies for the automotive industry, has announced that it is to create 500 new jobs by extending its plant in Nowa Sól (in the Kostrzyńsko-Słubicka Special Economic Zone). The company currently employs 890 in Nowa Sól and has 5 plants located in Germany, Spain, and Poland, employing 2,000. As of March 2008 there is no information as to when employment at the plant in Nowa Sól will commence and when the new jobs will be created by.
