Description
The South — Korean shipbuilding company Daewoo Mangalia Heavy Industries (Constanta county, South-East region) announced that in 2008 will hire approximately 300 workers from Asian countries. The decision is motivated by the migration of Romanian skilled workers and by the cost of Asian labour force, lower with 20-30% than the local workforce. The company currently employs 3,600, of which 68 are from Vietnam and 48 from China. The average gross monthly wage in the company is EUR 700.
