Description
Seaway, a Slovenian producer of sailing boats and yachts, has announced that it is to create 200 new jobs with the development of a new production site in Puconci near Murska Sobota (in the less developed Pomurska region). The new facility will produce parts for sailing boats, yachts and wings of sails and it is expected to be operational by 2010. As of March 2008, there is no information on when the new jobs wll be created by. This business expansion will involve an investment of approximately EUR 10 million. The company has recorded very high growth rates in recent years. Recently it has also started to produce wings for wind power plants.
