Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Luka Koper (Port of Koper), has announced that it is to create 300 new jobs with the development of a regional distribution centre in Beltinci, which is located in the most North-Western part of Slovenia, near the border with Hungary. The construction of the new facility will begin in the first or in the second half of 2008 at the latest. The Beltinci centre is expected to make Port of Koper’s services more accessible to companies located in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. In the first phase the centre will employ 200 employees, while another 100 jobs are planned to be created later on.
