Payments company Chase Paymentech is to create 100 new jobs in Dublin due to the establishment of its EU headquarters. The company is a payment services provider and credit card processor, focused on electronic commerce. Its clients include Dell, Google and Amazon. Dublin was chosen because of its perceived large supply of skilled/educated graduates.
Within three years, it is envisaged that the new office will provide operational support for a 100-person team across Europe responsible for expanding Chase Paymentech operations, marketing initiatives and customer support activities outside the United States. Chase Paymentech president and CEO, Michael Duffy, stated: "Our Dublin presence enhances the company's broader strategy to best servce our merchant partners and their customers around the globe through a series of cross-border automatic clearing initiatives".
