BAE Systems is a global company engaged in the development, delivery and support of advanced defence and aerospace systems in the air, on land and at sea.BAE Systems acquired Hägglunds in Sweden in 2004. The company forms part of BAE Systems AB, together with BAE Systems Bofors. Due to restructuring and reshaping of the business, a reduction of 225 jobs has been announced. Negotiations with the relevant unions are started and these will decide when and who will be forced to leave their jobs.
