Relacom Finland, a subsidiary of Stockholm headquartered telecommunications network service group Relacom, has concluded its personnel negotiations and a total of 365 employees will be made redundant. Reductions will be carried out through lay offs and retirement arrangements. Relacom started its personnel negotiations that concerned all personnel working in Finland in February 2008. Originally it was planned that a total of 380 jobs were to be cut due to increased competition in the sector. Relacom Finland Oy employs 1800 people and focuses on the installation and maintenance of telecommunication networks and is a member of the global Relacom Group that employs more than 16000 employees and operates in 20 countries.
