Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Alison Hayes, the Romanian local subsidiary of the British manufacturer of ladies clothing, announced that it is to create 300 new jobs of which 150 at its factory in Urziceni (Lalomita county, South region) and other 150 in Buzau (Buzau county, South region). This business expansion is linked to the launch of four new production lines. Corina Stoica, financial manager of Alison Hayes, stated that there is a need to further develop the market of ladies clothing in Romania and prepare the conditions for close cooperation with big retailers as soon as they start to operate in the country.
