Description
Enics, a Finnish-Swiss company producing electronic printed circuits and modules, is extending its business in Slovakia by creating about 360 jobs.
Enics Slovakia has been operating in the country since October 2007 when the company took over a division of Slovak ZTS Elektronika ES Company in Nová Dubnica. According to the President of Enics Board, Reiko Itkonen, management decided to invest in Slovakia mainly because of its location in the centre of Europe.
Currently, Enics Slovakia employs 140 people and its products are used in electronic control systems, e.g. in railways, lifts, heath care equipments. According to Enics Slovakia CEO, Karol Minaroviech, the business expansion will take place in several stages. Employment effect start and timeline were not yet announced.
